Heat Shrink Wrap Around Sleeves (WRS)

Wraps around sleeves are manufactured from cross-linked, heat shrinkable, thermally stabilized polymers in various sizes as per customer specifications and requirements. The inside surface of the expanded sleeve is then corona treated and coated with Polyamide based Hot Melt Adhesive (HMA). Temperature sensitive paint is applied on the outside surface of the Wrap Around Sleeve (WRS), which changes color when heat is applied and shrinking process is complete. The HMA coated surface of WRS is protected by quick release poly film till it is ready for use

Application

Wrap Around Sleeves are used for protection of telephone cable joints and welded joints of oil, water & gas pipelines from mechanical damage & corrosion.

Properties

1. High resistance to ultraviolet rays, fungus, chemical corrosion, acids.
2. High shrink ratio (depending on size).
3. Hot melt adhesive in the wrap around sleeve provides excellent water proofing and environmental sealing.

Thermo Shrink Filled (TSF) Jointing Kits

Thermo Shrink Filled Cable Jointing Kits are manufactured as per the specifications approved by Department Of Telecom - Govt. of India for jointing of Telephone cables of 5 pairs to 1200 pairs. We provide these Jointing Kits for Telecom Industry, which comprise of expanded hot melt coated sleeves along with the accessories required for jointing telephone cables.

1. Jointing Kits are primarily used in termination and jointing of Jelly filled Telecom Cables.
